In the event of bad weather we wanted to assure you that our school will endeavour to remain open wherever possible. However, if we find it necessary to close the school we will send a text message to all parents for whom we have a mobile number, and we will also post a message on our website. To enable us to keep you up-to-date with such information, please ensure we have your preferred mobile number for text messages. All school closures will also be listed on the Tameside Council website and local radio stations will be informed. On occasions of adverse weather conditions, please do not contact the school before 8.30am as the office is not covered until that time. It is always difficult to make the right decision due to the unpredictability of the weather, we will aim to do this as swiftly as we can. Please rest assured that any decisions taken will be based around ensuring that your children are kept as safe as possible.
